kansas bathtub goes live.

kansas bathtub-- a more streamlined, professional, etc, answer to this here blog-- has gone live. thanks to ben Pfeiffer, of MFA @ KU fame.

Collective-ers are invited, encouraged, to visit the site, explore it, create an account, and give feedback. Feel free to post comments here if you like. Some of the ideas kicked around @ the mosquito-infested but otherwise lovely get together we recently experienced: why do we want this website? (something to put on a card to hand out @ AWP, for example) how will it differ from the blog? (it essentially wouldn't, but it could, as much as we want as designers-- it could, for example, have a basic and "professional" face, with options to click into this kind of madness if one so chooses-- and an informative sidebar with profiles of members or profiles of what we are doing would be an option).

I don't even know what the options are, I'm just guessing.
Ben is open to suggestions and ideas, so if you have a favorite collective's site, post it here: we can compare and contrast it.

Well, get over to our fledgling and check it out.

Iris, I love the link you posted. This C2 collective is a drupal-powered site, too. And with a Google calendar interface. BTW I've set up the Google calendar for us -- new things posted to our calendar will appear on kansasbathtub.org

I particularly like the use of images on the site you linked to. We need to get us some images posted on our site, don't you think?
